1. Changes to HotDocs 10
A number of changes have been made to the HotDocs namespace, as outlined below.

Product Name: HotDocs is now available in four different editions:
- HotDocs Developer: Previously known as HotDocs Professional Edition
- HotDocs Developer LE: Previously known as HotDocs Standard Edition
- HotDocs User: This is a new product similar to HotDocs Player, but it can assemble any template and does not require a HotDocs publishing key.
- HotDocs Player: This free version of HotDocs, which can assemble only published, registered templates, is still known as HotDocs Player.

File Names: The following files have been renamed for HotDocs 10:
- hotdocs.exe (formerly hotdocs6.exe)
- hotdocs.dot (formerly hotdocs6.dot)
- hd_api.dll (formerly hd6api.dll)
- hd_dispatch.exe (formerly hd6dispatch.exe)

Default Installation Folder: By default, HotDocs is now installed in C:\Program Files\HotDocs instead of C:\Program Files\HotDocs 6.

Registry Keys: HotDocs now stores registry information in the following locations:
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > HotDocs > HotDocs
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > HotDocs > HotDocs
(Previously, these registry keys were found under "... > LexisNexis > HotDocs 6".)

Word Processors: HotDocs now supports the use of the following new word processors:

Interviews
- Interviews have been updated and improved for HotDocs 10.

PDF Support: The functionality previously provided by HotDocs PDF Advantage is now integrated with HotDocs 10.
2. Known Software Issues Fixed in HotDocs 10.1
The following software issues, which existed in HotDocs 10.0.3, have been resolved in HotDocs 10.1:

List entries used in ListNum fields are no longer removed from the RTF list table (Issue #4222)

An imported library linked to a remote machine will not disappear on opening HotDocs if remote machine is unavailable (Issue #4216)

4. Known Software Issues Fixed in HotDocs 10.0.2
The following software issues, which existed in HotDocs 10.0.1, have been resolved in HotDocs 10.0.2:

End of Interview checkboxes now remember selections (Issue #3859).

Incorrectly drawn items in Answer Wizard and pop-up interview are now displayed correctly (Issue #3890).

Next dialog is no longer calculated before interview is updated when Instant Update is turned off (Issue #3915).

Static PDF content appears correctly when overlaying answers (Issue #3943).

Resources now appear immediately in database component dialogs (Issue #3966).

Text variable patterns are now correctly updated on navigating between dialogs (Issue #4008).

Cross-references no longer update to '0' when INSERT instruction is placed immediately after referenced paragraph number (Issue #4014).

HotDocs libraries that are imported for 'Assembly Only' can now be deleted (Issue #4020).

Auto-resizing of spreadsheet column takes account of 'Other' answers for multiple-choice variables (Issue #4021).
- Delete key in multiple line text fields removes one character instead of two (Issue #4091).
5. Known Software Issues Fixed in HotDocs 10.0.1
The following software issues, which existed in HotDocs 10, have been resolved in HotDocs 10.0.1:

Components used in a plain text resource are now treated as being “used.”
Previously, the Used In tab of component editors did not list these components as being used. (Issue #3850)

HotDocs scripts that check to see if a Multiple Choice variable’s answer is “None of the Above” now return the correct answer. (Issue #3876)
- Various issues have been fixed related to focus while interacting with the interview dialogs.

Answers containing line breaks no longer overlap cell boundaries when displayed in a spreadsheet (Issue #3894)

Form templates that use a custom interview, and also automatically disable irrelevant variables and dialogs, no longer produce empty interviews. (Issue #3909)
- Scripts in repeated dialogs now run under the correct repeat context. (Issue #3877)

Right-aligned number variables now appear right-aligned in spreadsheets. (Issue #3899)

Script link dialog elements now display an image on the button if an image is specified. (Issue #3913)
- Double-clicking in Word documents that contain comments no longer causes erratic screen flickering and dialog scrolling. (Issue #3928)
